You will also want to ask for the maintenance records for the instrument. These instruments need to be serviced and re-calibrated on a regular basis to ensure that they are working properly. The records that you obtain will show whether or not the instrument was in compliance. If it is not in compliance with the service requirement, it is possible that you can beat this speeding ticket.
