In 1967 Chevrolet came out with the Camaro. It hit the market with fire and energy providing a lot of power to the needs of those who wanted it. Through time the model has seen many faces and changes. However, the 2011 Camaro is now seeing a new surge of the classic model that first came off of the factory floor.
With its different trim levels and a variety options there is sure to be something for everyone. It is an affordable option for many who are looking for a nice sports car with a lower end price tag than many other sports car of this class. Take a look at the options you get with the new Camaro in 2011.
In 1967 it was an in line six design, for 2011 it is a V6. With a 3.6 liter displacement this engine produces an impressive 312 horsepower. It also comes with a standard six speed manual transmission. If you must have an automatic it will cost you an additional $995.00. For that you get a six speed automatic. This model comes with standard eighteen inch wheels, steering wheel mounted cruise control and a dual exhaust. All Camaro models come with six months of OnStar Directions and connections plan with turn by turn navigation.
In the line of cars there is the Coupe and there is the SS line. Both are great cars and it just depends on your needs, budget and desires in the available packages that are offered. If you want a bit more power you will want the SS line.
Basic packages are fortunate to offer OnStar with turn by turn directions standard for the first six months you own the vehicle. Other standard features are included. As you upgrade to higher end models you get other features such as better quality speakers, sunroofs and other options.
Basically you get two options for your needs as far as power goes for the new model coming out. The V6 is a great option or you can get the V8 engine with the SS line. If you want four piston Brembo vented disk brakes and a rear deck spoiler then check out the 1SS. If you want the same but with more options then go for the 2SS.
The 2SS is similar with the options as the 1SS with a bit more punch. It will run you about another five thousand dollars for the 2SS features. It also has the USB ports and Bluetooth options. These options are for selected phones. It also has a power sunroof, RS package and automatic transmission with stripe package.
The RS package that is available on every model except the LS includes 20 inch aluminum wheels, High intensity discharge headlights with integrated LED halo rings, rear deck lid spoiler on LT models, body color ditch moldings and unique tail lamps.
